The founder and designer is Daiki Suzuki. He opened an office in New York in 1997, and in 2008 won the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Best New Menswear Designer Award, which is given to America's most active designer, and is the first Japanese to be entered as an official member of the CFDA.
