This is a dead stock item from the US military personal effects bag from around the 1960s.
It was adopted by the US military since the 1960s and was created primarily for carrying personal belongings of injured people.
It is a simple drawstring bag-shaped design, but there are waterproof dividers on the inside. The front of the bag has a white cloth to write down your name and initials. The string is made of flat string of the same color as the body.
It is larger than a regular personal effect bag, and has a larger gusset, making it easy to store.
We wash dead stock at our store. There is no noticeable damage, but depending on the individual, there may be minor stains caused by storage and stains caused by tag marks.
