DRESS（ドレス）は、NEATのデザイナー西野大士氏が手掛ける日本のブランド。英語の「DRESS」には正装という意味に加え、「〜用に作られた」という意味もあり、働く人の姿やヴィンテージのユニフォームから着想を得たものづくりを行っています。

毎シーズンひとつの職種や仕事に焦点をあて、そのユニフォームを現代的な衣服として再構築。ワークウェアが本来持っている機能性や実用性を大切にしながら、素材やシルエット、ディテールに現代的な感覚を加えています。道具としてのユニフォームとファッションを融合させ、日常のスタイルに自然に取り入れられる服へと昇華していることがDRESSの魅力です。

DRESS

DRESS is a Japanese clothing brand created by Daishi Nishino, designer of NEAT. The name DRESS refers not only to formal clothing, but also to something “made for” a particular purpose. The brand draws inspiration from the uniforms and workwear worn by people in different professions.

Each season focuses on a particular profession or occupation, reinterpreting its uniform through a contemporary perspective. DRESS preserves the functionality and practicality of traditional workwear while introducing modern materials, silhouettes and details. By combining uniforms as tools with fashion, the brand creates clothing that naturally fits into everyday life.
